Denver Bond and Tax Questions – Homework Begins

Ten ordinances constitute the meat of the tax and bond questions that will appear on the November ballot. They are numbered 413 (2.5 mill levy increase on property taxes), 414 (Deferred maintenance on public office buildings), 415 (Deferred maintenance on cultural facilities), 416 (Health and Human Services system facilities), 417 (Park System facilities), 418 (Public Safety system facilities), 419 (Streets, Transportation & Public Works), 420 (Library system facilities), 421 (Cultural Facilities, New Construction), and 422 (Detail of Projects to be undertaken with bond proceeds).

Helpful hint: Skip to the LARGE PRINT to glean the PURPOSE of each of these ordinances.

George expects he’ll be dissecting each of these ordinances. UGH! Homework!

Sometimes, darling, you just make Denver sound like an utterly depressing place to live. đŸ™‚

    Thanks for the links.

    I think.

    You’re welcome, Suz. I think…

Stephen probably has it right. George needs to get a grip. Boring sludge from the old blog depresses as surely as watching the portfolio sink. Ugh!
